Dermatology

Dr. John Ashworth is a leading Consultant Dermatologist and is registered with the General Medical Council of Great Britain and the Irish Medical Council. Educated at St.Bedes College in Manchester and Manchester Medical School, he carried out his medical elective at Johnston Willis Memorial Hospital in Virginia, USA.

Since 1982, Dr Ashworth has worked as a full-time dermatologist and gained specialist accreditation in dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians in 1989. He has worked throughout the UK in many hospitals in major cities, Glasgow, London, Preston, Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester.

Dr Ashworth has wide experience in all aspects of dermatology, skin cancer, acne, moles, psoriasis, warts, eczema, skin aging and skin allergies. He believes in raising awareness of skin conditions for the public and those in the medical profession.

Consultations and treatment including skin surgery are carried out at the clinic.

I am and always will be very grateful. After a serious accident in 2000, which left me with all my front teeth knocked out amongst other facial injuries at a young age, I thought things would never be the same, however I was referred to Nigel at Bramcote who over a duration of appointments to follow began to rebuild my teeth through the use of implants and bridge and his precision dentistry skills. We are now in 2017 and the treatment has never given me any problems and its very hard to tell that anything that happened to me. I am and always will be very grateful for Nigel as what he did with the reconstruction work has meant I have continued to be able to lead a normal life I would always recommend Bramcote and the team there as they are always friendly, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. I attended Bramcote recently as an emergency patient as I had been up all night in excruciating pain. I was awake all night, in tears, and was considering going to A&E, my pain was so severe. Thankfully Dr Nigel was able to see me first thing in the morning. He had me completely out of pain within ten minutes. He was incredibly sympathetic and diagnosed a root canal and started treatment immediately. I attended the following day and was further treated for the root canal by Dr Ijaz and Faye. The root canal was a success and they saved a very angry, damaged tooth. I have been completely pain free since. I am so incredibly grateful to Dr Nigel Saynor and all his team at Bramcote. Thankyou.
