Dermatology

Dr. John Ashworth is a leading Consultant Dermatologist and is registered with the General Medical Council of Great Britain and the Irish Medical Council. Educated at St.Bedes College in Manchester and Manchester Medical School, he carried out his medical elective at Johnston Willis Memorial Hospital in Virginia, USA.

Since 1982, Dr Ashworth has worked as a full-time dermatologist and gained specialist accreditation in dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians in 1989. He has worked throughout the UK in many hospitals in major cities, Glasgow, London, Preston, Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester.

Dr Ashworth has wide experience in all aspects of dermatology, skin cancer, acne, moles, psoriasis, warts, eczema, skin aging and skin allergies. He believes in raising awareness of skin conditions for the public and those in the medical profession.

Consultations and treatment including skin surgery are carried out at the clinic.
