We know that every smile is unique and strive to nurture the important relationship between you and your dentist

Regular dental health checks complement a good daily oral health routine, which will help you prevent any future oral health issues.

Our experienced dentists take the time to understand your lifestyle, past treatments and procedures, and will talk through any concerns you may have. We understand that a trip to the dentist can make people anxious, so building a relationship of trust between our dentists and you is a top priority.

What does a dental health check include?

On your first visit, a complete health history will be taken to help us understand your individual needs. Your dentist may take a 2d or 3d image of your teeth,  which will help us assess the current landscape of your jaw, for example the position of any wisdom teeth, and will help diagnose any issues that would otherwise go unnoticed.

At every dental health check, your dentist will perform a comprehensive examination of your mouth, teeth and gums. They will examine the health of the soft tissue in your mouth (cheeks and tongue), test your gums, screen for mouth cancer and offer advice and guidance on how to maintain and improve your dental care.

What are the benefits of regular dental health checks?

The health of your teeth is invaluable, and prevention is better than treatment further down the line. Regular dental health checks give your dentist the opportunity to halt any signs of gum disease or tooth decay and work with you to keep your smile fresh and bright, now and in the future. Routinely examining your smile can identify problems early.
